Stefano Rasotto

Rasotto Flotte
Stefano Rasotto
Managing Director,
Rasotto Flotte
Stefano began his journey in the automotive world at an early age, working in his family’s village workshop.
After studying accounting and completing military service, in 1990 he launched his growth project, which led him in 1995 to found the "Centro Servizi Auto Rasotto" in Dueville (VI). This was a single large facility that brought together all automotive services: Authorized Fiat Workshop, Body Shop, Auto Electrician, Tire Service, Vehicle Inspection Center, and New and Used Car Sales—offering an innovative service model for both businesses and private customers.
The idea proved successful, and in just a few years the company grew from 5 to 25 employees, significantly increasing its turnover.
In 2005, due to the shift from ownership to leasing among many of his business clients, Stefano initiated a major process of change and growth, both for the company and on a personal level (also supported by his completion of a Master's in "Strategy and Business Management" at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice). This led, through significant investments, to the transformation of the company in order to meet the needs of long-term rental companies. In 2016, he founded "Rasotto Flotte", a service center for leased corporate vehicles, which today is a key regional reference point with 130 employees across 6 branches in Veneto: Dueville, Vicenza, Verona, Padua, Treviso, and Venice.
In 2025, located in Altavilla Vicentina (VI), R Factory was built in record time. It is the second body shop in Italy to use the industrialized Symach process—an emblem of excellence for Rasotto Flotte.
Over the years, Stefano has founded five other companies operating in various sectors: from intralogistics to rentals, as well as the hydroelectric sector and vehicle maintenance and repair. Today, along with Rasotto Flotte, they are part of GRUPPO RASOTTO SRL and employ over 200 people.
A group that blends the values of tradition with the knowledge of innovation, believing strongly in the importance of personal and professional development for all its team members. A constant commitment to teamwork and passion, striving every day to turn threats into opportunities and to maintain leadership in its target markets.

Plinio Vanini
Vice President,
Federauto
Plinio Vanini
Vice President,
Federauto
Plinio Vanini began his journey with Autotorino in 1985, following the untimely passing of his father, setting aside his deep passion for livestock farming. Starting from a single showroom with a workshop in Morbegno, he gradually shaped what Autotorino is today, driven by a clear vision: to create a business model deeply connected to customers, through personalized offerings, a multi-brand portfolio, and a wide range of mobility services.
Autotorino became the Italian market leader in the automotive retail sector in 2015, strengthening its position both organically and through successive acquisitions. The company has kept its headquarters in Valtellina and operates through a territorial network of 70 branches across 24 provinces in Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Lazio.
In 2024, Autotorino launched its new used car brand BeBeep, and in January 2025, its first international project takes shape with the operational launch of the acquisition of a Mercedes-Benz branch in Warsaw.
A defining trait of Autotorino is its commitment to quality and innovation in both organizational models and customer services, supported by continuous investment in training, research, and development. This path has earned Autotorino multiple National Awards for Managerial Innovation, presented by the Automotive Dealer Day jury.
Furthermore, Autotorino is recognized among the top-performing Italian companies in terms of management, job creation capacity, and financial reliability. These qualities are reflected in its steady growth and have been acknowledged by the CR Awards promoted by Milano Finanza MF-Centralerisk, which have listed Autotorino among the 100 most punctual companies in financial and banking relations since 2022.
In 2024, Plinio Vanini was reappointed Vice President of Federauto, with a mandate for the car sector.
Meanwhile, Vanini has continued to nurture his passion for livestock farming, completing the development of a modern, authentically alpine farm — the agritourism estate La Fiorida. He also served as President of the Sondrio Provincial Breeders’ Association (APA) from 2005 to 2018 and the Lombardy Regional Breeders’ Association (ARAL) from 2018 to 2022.

Car Carrozzeria
As a boy, he dreamed of writing about cars and experiencing auto racing from behind the scenes. He would devour trade magazines and attend workshops to learn all about mechanics. A true passion. A dream come true. With a lot of hard work, he was first a professional test driver and then editor-in-chief of Automobilismo, AlVolante, EVO, Auto Oggi and Panoramauto. He was press office for AF Corse for 10 years and participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans project. Today he works for Car Carrozzeria and collaborates with Corriere della Sera. In his spare time he restores and rescues old Alfa Romeos in his “den,” now a real workshop.
